One Time Publication Rights
If you are posting an image to sell, you can also set a price to sell
the rights to publish the image. These rights only allow the buyer to
publish the image a single time in a catalogue, pamphlet, print
publication, or on a Web Site, on a single web page only.
As with the sale of any image on Jims Post, the seller must have
written rights to the image and permission from any actors or models
featured in the image to sell the image for publication.
There is a link on the upload page that asks if you’re posting an
image. Clicking this link will reveal a 2nd box that will allow you
to upload a 2nd version of the file. It is recommended that the file be
a high-resolution file. (The resolution will vary depending on the
source, so there are no standard sizes for the community. But using
your very best settings in your digital camera and photo imaging
software is recommended.) It is OK to use the same file for
both of your image uploads.
The buyer then agrees to notify the seller of the published location or
final product by email to the seller’s Jims Post email address. |
