iPods prefer Quicktime H.264 or mp.4. There are a few software applications
that will convert most audio and video files for use on an iPod, and some of
them are free. Many of our users tell us they have had good luck converting
with Quicktime (cheap but not free), or iSquint (a software application that is
shared through Apple).

Most conversion software will read your file and give you an option of what
format to save it in. The format you want to be in is: Quicktime H.264 or mp.4. |
